Dow maintains several joint ventures in the region including Sadara Chemicals; One of the joint projects implemented with Saudi Aramco, which reached full commercial operation in 2017. Sadara, which includes 26 manufacturing units, is one of the largest integrated chemical facilities in the world and the largest company ever in terms of building it in one phase. Dow has also established joint ventures in cooperation with Juffali & Brothers and also has a joint venture interest in the Saudi Acrylic Monomers Company Ltd. (SAMCO).

Another strategic investment, the Dow Middle East Innovation Center at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), is another strategic investment focused on developing technology to meet regional needs in the Middle East. The Dow Middle East Innovation Center (MEIC) is a key part of Dow's commitment to encourage local research, provide advanced digital solutions, and support the Kingdom's vision for its knowledge-based economy.
